My field work often deals with small, often unnoticed or overlooked fragments of urban environments. Presented as bold compositions and imbued with a Dada-esque humour, these pictures are at no time staged. I take great pleasure from accidental compositions resulting from an object or person's environment. Working in this manner continually tests my ability as a photographer to creatively frame and capture a photograph in often less than perfect conditions.
